Regular meetings of the Halifax Amateur Radio Club are open to anyone with an interest in amateur radio. They are held in the Senior's Room on the 1st floor of the St. Andrew’s Centre at 3380 Barnstead Lane, off of Bayers Rd. (outbound) just past Romans Ave. in Halifax on the third Wednesday of each month beginning at 6:30 PM, from September to June.
Our meetings begin informally at 6:30 with a social hour and light refreshments; 7:00 to 8:00 we have our monthly guest speaker giving a presentation on some Amateur Radio-related topic; followed at 8:00 – 9:00 by our monthly business meeting. A typical meeting begins with a welcome to any guests followed by self-introduction of all members present, followed by a one hour business session associated with the club's activities, individual member and other associated organization's activities.
